Special prosecutor Hank Brennan may question Dr. Russell on cross examination, but Dr. Russell is clearly qualified and she will be allowed to testify. The case, called the “Canton Coverup” by some, revolves around the death of Boston Police officer John O’Keefe at the home of fellow police officer Brian Albert. The immediate issue asks whether Dr. Russell will testify in the retrial. But the prosecutor seeks exclusion of other defense expert witnesses at the retrial.
